Every aspect of your retreat has been carefully curated by Couple and Elopement photographer Kate Nolan, and . Working in the industry themselves, they understand how hard it can be to get the balance right between what you need, and what your clients expect. Which is why they’ve created a retreat that focuses entirely on you. From your transport to the stunning and perfectly situated coastal accommodation, to the home-made bread and scones – every detail, big and small has been painstakingly crafted to bring you a truly rejuvenating and one-of-a-kind experience.
Based in Ireland themselves, Kate and Patrick bring with them a wealth of knowledge on the best-known locations for shooting captivating engagement and elopement shoots, as well as a few not-so-well-known hidden gems to help get your creative juices flowing. And with over 30 years combined in the hospitality industry their hosting skills are second to none – exuding warmth and expertise at every turn.

How you’ll get here
It’s a brave decision to travel across the world to reconnect with yourself – and we’ll do all we can to make it easy for you. While we can’t fly the plane that gets you here, we’ll take care of everything as soon as you’re welcomed onto Irish soil. Like an old friend, we’ll be waiting for you at Dublin airport with a warm, chauffer driven car that will accompany you throughout your stay, as well as plenty of smiles. And because we want you to enjoy the duration of your stay without worry – we’ll be offering drop off to the airport at the end of the retreat too.
Where you’ll rest your head
Situated in the heart of the most scenic part of Northern Ireland and a short distance from all shooting locations, you’ll spend 4 nights in a beautiful beachfront house with direct access to the beach, surrounded by Northern Ireland’s rugged and awe-inspiring coastline. Lovingly handpicked for its cosy, intimate, and close to nature feel, you’ll enjoy both spacious communal areas to bond and connect with fellow guests, as well as quiet log-burning sitting rooms to curl up with a book should you so choose. Think firepits, cosy blankets and evening beach walks, sandy toes, and breath-taking sunsets – you’ll feel right at home in no time.

In amongst reigniting your passion for your craft with portrait photography in some of Northern Ireland’s most captivating locations, you’ll spend quality time connecting with other likeminded female photographers. Whether you’re an elopement photographer, a wedding photographer, a destination photographer, or are looking to try a new niche, there’s a seat at the table for you. Photography can be a lonely business with a lack of connection and support. We aim to bring all 8 of our guests together in a safe space of mutual understanding to build and carry forward those authentic connections you might until now have been missing.
What you’ll nourish your body with
Just as your mind and soul will be nourished during your time on the retreat, so will your body – with an all-inclusive package of exquisite culinary delights served up by our very own hand selected private chef, Anna O’Donnell. Passionate about using sustainable local produce to create deliciously authentic local cuisine, you’ll delight in the finest of what Northern Ireland has to offer. Just like arriving home to your favourite Grandma’s house, you’ll want for absolutely nothing - enjoying 4 beautifully crafted breakfasts and gourmet dinners every day, as well as light snacks to fill your cup throughout the day. Many of Anna’s dishes are plant-based and all dietary preferences can be catered for.
